Slideshow: " ‘The big bang’ to the end of the universe"

Peter has given this at a number of Motorhome rallies and is a favourite of many amateur astronomers. It talks about the birth of the universe, to the final crunch, rip or freeze.

Slideshow: "The Constellations - with emphasis on the Southern Sky".

Peter talks about the constellations and how to recognise them in the sky tonight.

Usually includes a hand-out of the stars visible tonight over the Motohome rally site. Very popular talk.

Workshop: "Starry Starry Night"

Peter takes small groups (or large) into a dark field and shows you what to see in the night sky tonight. He demonstrates how to set up two telescopes, and shows you a number of astronomical bodies eg the moon, nearby planets, a number of recognisable stars & constallations.

Peter also demonstrates a number of iPad Apps (applications) to help you identify star, planets, satellites etc. Great beginners workshop, very popular (no charge).

Workshop. (Hands on practical not a slideshow.)
